Our care is delivered over two sites, the White Horse Health Centre in Westbury and Bratton Surgery in Bratton.
White Horse Health Centre
The White Horse Health Centre was built in 2012 and is the product of the merge of Westbury Community Hospital and Eastleigh Practice. The modern Health Centre is built to serve 30,000 patients and is equipped with some of the latest medical equipment availiable. With more than 40 clinical spaces and more than 10 administrative spaces, the building is a busy, hard-working environment.
The Tynings used to house big greenhouses for fruit, vegetable and flower beds for Perry's Greengrocers in Westbury. In the 1970s social housing was built on the site for the elderly to rent and live independently. The practice rents one of the ground floor flats, previously the surgery was in the grounds of Hillworth House. Throughout the 1970s a doctor held a surgery in the church hall, privacy was non-existent with the level of activity! Before the Dispensary was setup drugs would be dispensed from chemists in Westbury to the local shop to be handed out.
We provide the following facilities at Westbury Group Practice surgeries and, although signposted, any of our staff would be pleased to direct you.
