Travel Advice & Vaccinations

Travel imageWe offer advice on all aspects of travel such as insect bite protection, malaria prophylaxis, traveler's diarrhoea and altitude sickness. We also give any recommended vaccinations for your chosen country.

Our clinic is run weekly on a Friday at Eastleigh Surgery, 2.30pm to 6.15pm

An appointment is necessary as it is a busy clinic and will normally need booking in advance. When making an appointment, please let us know your destination plans so we can customise your travel advice and vaccination requirements.

It is recommended that you have your vaccinations at least 3 weeks in advance. It is never too late though and please contact the surgery if you have made last minute travel plans.

We are a designated Yellow Fever vaccination centre and can issue the International Vaccination Certificate. Please note Yellow Fever vaccinations need to be given at least 10 days before travel.

Vaccines such as Rabies and Japanese Encephalitis can be obtained within 48hrs on request.

Prices for the most common vaccinations can be found on our Non-NHS Services page.

Pre-Travel Risk Assessment

You can download our travel questionnaire here:
Travel questionnaire

Simply print it out, complete it and drop it in to Eastleigh Surgery, ideally at least 6 weeks prior to departure, and we will contact you with an appointment. Please make sure a questionnaire is completed for each member of your traveling party.

Please contact us if you need more information or have any queries.

Information Leaflets

We have compiled a series of information leaflets which you can view online and are available to download, accessible from the menu on the left.
