You may become a carer in one or two ways; it either just creeps up on you and you realise just how much you are having to do, or it can happen suddenly because of an accident or illness. Either way, Westbury Group Practice is able to offer you help and support when needed. Please make us aware if you care for someone, by asking for your name to be added to our Carers register. We offer an annual health check, and we can refer you to Social Services or Carers Support for a carers assessment, if you so wish.

If you make our receptionists aware you are a carer they will make every effort to ensure that you are seen promptly when attending for an appointment.
