Text Message Reminders:
The surgery sends text message reminders to our patients. If your mobile number has recently changed please let us know so we can update your record. If you do not wish to receive these reminders please telephone the reception team on 01373 828330 who will update your record accordingly. Text message reminders are complimentary; you should not rely on these for remembering your appointment.
Contacting the practice by telephone:
Please be aware that the practice phone lines are busiest between the times of 8 am and 11 am every day and all day on a Monday. If your call is routine and not for an emergency appointment please avoid calling at these times, this will save you having to hold for long periods of time when trying to get through to the practice.
Contacting the practice by telephone for blood test results:
If you need to call the practice for results relating to a blood test, please call during the following times:
Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri – 14:00 – 17:30
Wednesday – 08:30 - 12.30
Drop-in Phlebotomy Clinic (blood)
As of December 2014 we are adding Friday’s to our Drop-In Phlebotomy Clinic at White Horse Health Centre to provide more flexibility for you, our patients. We understand that some patients will still want to book an appointment so each day there will be limited bookable appointments.
The drop in clinics will run as follows:
Tuesdays – 7.30am – 10am
Wednesdays – 8am – 10am
Thursdays – 8am – 10am
Fridays – 8am – 10am
This means, if you see a doctor between these times, and they request that you have a blood test, you will go to reception who will book you in. This will save you having to come back again on another day. Also this provides more flexibility for people who work and need an early appointment and saves patients having to wait for a booking.
Please note these drop-in clinics are for people aged 16 years and over only.
We are interested in your feedback if you use this service when it is up and running. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your comments.
