All patients registered with Westbury Group Practice and who are aged 65 or over or are in any of the at-risk groups (see list below), are invited to attend one of the following sessions for a flu injection.

Asthma Clinic

If you suffer from asthma, you will be on our Asthma Register. This allows us to make sure we are monitoring and controlling any symptoms and medication you are on at least once a year. You will be invited to attend the asthma clinic for a check up at least annually. You can also contact your Surgery to make an appointment to see the Asthma Nurse at any time.

Maternity Care

A small team of midwives provides antenatal, labour and postnatal care for women registered at Westbury Group Practice.

The midwives are able to offer pre-conceptual advice to women thinking about having a baby.

It is recommended that women are booked by a midwife, ideally by 10 weeks. This is to ensure women receive information on folic acid supplementation, maintain adequate Vitamin D stores, food hygiene, lifestyle advice and all antenatal screening.
