Five Basic Medicine Rules

These five basic medicine rules should keep you and your family healthy and safe.

  1. Always finish prescribed courses of medication, or dispose of any leftovers safely
  2. Never take medicine prescribed for someone else
  3. Make sure all medicines are safe especially from small children

Obtaining A Sick Note

Thermometer imageAll sick notes will have an illness or relevant condition stated and a length of time the sick note is covering. They may be collected from Reception.

The First 5 Days

If you are off work for up to 1 week (5 working days) you do not need a sick note form.

Obtaining Blood Test Results

Lab imageWestbury Group Practice has set up a new Results Service to make it easier and quicker for you to find out the results of your tests.

Please telephone the Receptionist on 0844 477 8760 or 0844 477 8762 and ask to speak with the Results Clerk.

The Results Service opening hours are 2.00pm to 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and 8.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday

Home Visits

Doctor's BadgePatients are generally seen at the surgery between the hours of 8.00am and 6.30pm, but you may be seen at home if the doctor considers a home visit necessary because of the medical condition.
