Welcome to the Westbury Group Practice website. The aim of this site is to give information about the practice, its services and guidance for patients and prospective patients. Three surgeries make up Westbury Group Practice:

Changes at Westbury Group Practice

During October there will be a number of changes at the surgery which aim to improve access to services.

The main changes have been shared with the Patient Participation Group at their last meeting on Tuesday 13th September 2011. They support us in making these changes and will help us monitor their effectiveness.

The main changes are:

• All Doctors will be based at Eastleigh Surgery (except for Dr Edwards who will remain at Bratton Surgery) although patients can still see Doctors by appointment at White Horse Surgery
• There will a slight alteration to the Bratton Surgery opening times on Wednesday evenings & Thursday afternoons
• There will be revised telephone system messages at Eastleigh Surgery to try and streamline access through the telephone system
• There will be improved telephone access for patients at Eastleigh Surgery during lunch time & on Wednesday afternoons. The telephone lines will be open for an additional 12 hours per week to improve access
• The Prescription Service and Secretary at White Horse surgery will be incorporated into the service at Eastleigh Surgery

Online Repeat Prescription Service

You can now request your repeat prescriptions on-line by logging on to a new service via the Practice website.

This means you will be able to manage your prescriptions quickly and easily wherever you are, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Dental Service based at Westbury Hospital

Each surgery has it's own fax line, numbers are listed on the top left of this page.

If faxing your prescription request, please allow two working days for it to be processed.

Text messaging to your mobile phone

The Practice now has the facility to send text messages to your mobile telephone to relay general information. Text messages sent to your mobile will not include any personal information, without receiving your prior consent.

To receive these text messages please provide us with your mobile telephone number by contacting reception. If you do not wish to receive this service, please inform reception who will mark you accordingly on the system.
